Red Rock Lake this weekend?

Hey Iowa friends!

I may be putting in on Red Rock Lake this weekend. If it happens we'll be coming down Route 14 from the up north in IA.

Any tips on boat launches etc would be appreciated!

Will anybody else be on the lake Saturday or Sunday?

Is it Lake Red Rock, or Red Rock Lake? Lol, who knows. It's in Iowa.

Boating was great and the ramp at Elk Rock State Park is fantastic. It's free to launch there.

Glad you had a good trip.  Lake Red Rock is what I’ve always called it...dunno for sure though.

Much better than Saylorville in Des Moines.

Lake Rathbun is by far the best of the 3 reservoirs.  Much less crowded and better water to boat on IMO.
