It's been a busy week or so, lot's of work meetings and then my Wife's 30th birthday. Went to Chicago for the weekend.
Anyways, I got at least one item checked off the list today, bilge pump is installed.
Had to trim some of the stern floatation foam with a rasp and drywall saw, the 3/4" hose didn't have enough room to bend up onto the barb of the bilge port.
Mounted the pump itself in the middle of the bilge, this should allow enough enough clearance between both sumps of the oil pan on the engine. All the fasteners going into wood are sealed with 4200.
Tidied up all the wiring and tubing. Spliced in about a 12' extension of wire from the pump so it can be routed all the way up under the dash. This pump has (3) wires: ground, always on, and manual override. The always on goes direct to the battery through a fuse, the pump periodically checks for water even when the boat is unattended.
All for now.
