CV16, CVX16, Metric & 16CSS history

Hyperacme:
All 1973 and earlier CV's had the GT emblem on there deck.
1974 and latter had the CV deck emblem.

Hyperacme:
1974 CV16 ...

CV16 colors were White with Green or Plum
Big changes in 74 for the outboard ...
CV16SS style windshield with bottom aluminum bar, plastic dash, hump in deck,
18 gal. fuel tank under bow, G/C sticker/ wood grain strip replaces
COOL alu. G/C plate on stern and the deck emblem changed from the "GT" to the "CV'.
But didn't get the recess around gas filler that all CV16SS's have.
CV16SS colors were White with Green or Blue.
First year of the full wrap around plastic dash on the CV16SS.

Hyperacme:
1975 CV16 ...

Colors were White with Blue or Plum.
No changes from 1974.
CV16SS was White with Bronze.
Also unchanged.

This was the first year of the CV16V8 ...
Color was White and Plum.

Hyperacme:
1975 CV16  / CV16SS  /  CV16V8 spec's

Hyperacme:
1976 was the last year of the CV's ...
CV16 were White & Red or Light Blue & Blue ...
CV16SS were White & Red or Silver & Gray
CV16V8 were White & Orange


Steering wheel changed on all models.

Seats have a quilted pattern, knee pad above splash well isn't pleated.

There was color options in 1976, could have been color options in other years also ...

CV16 Super Factory options :
Silver or Orange metalflake

4 cyl. : Orange or Blue
V8 : Silver or Red

There was also the CV's with the GT160 seat .. Could have come from factory
