Just caught the "64.8 GPS" David. Hah! No that won't be happening for awhile. Had a line on a 140 in Bradenton but the sob up & sold it to someone who actually had cash money. That prick ...! Heh heh heh.

re Bimini as para-sail: Nah this baby spent weeks in Creative Canvas's top secret Skank Works wind tunnel facility. It is designed to neither bag nor break wind. (That'd probly be me breaking the wind btw, s'cuze me ...)

But seriously even a perfectly aligned bimini top will slow you down at least 1.5 mph or so. That frame'n straps'n canvas get in the winds way doncha know. Nature of the beast I reckon. However this time of year I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

Best ever pic Doug! Do you always have someone following you with a camera?
Are you launching from a dead stop here or what? Dont see any waves assisting with that bow lift!
Shear horsepower?

Thanks Ross. That was shot from Bruce Kiles 28'(?) World Cat w/200 Yamaha twins after crossing his wake. Think that was the second bounce ... Lemme tell ya those cats throw a weird wake! It was a purty hairy launch & initial reentry actually. Note the lack of trademark SEG. My cameraman Mark tried to get me to do it again cuz he missed the shot, but I'd had enough wake jumping at that point.

Shh!!! Don't tell her that Ross! At her age if she wants to believe she's a jetski who's to say otherwise ...

Btw have you seen the size of some of these so-called "jetskis" lately? Humongous! "Boats with handlebars" is what I call 'em. Buddy's got a hot rod supercharged Yamaha that is 13 feet something long. Gotta be 5 ft wide. Sorry but to me that's not a 'personal water craft'.
