Not yet, which link was that on?

I did see that one, it violates 2 of Sara's rules for a new boat
1) Must seat as many or more then the 184, this would be close and I could probably sweet talk that
2) Must not be brown...Unless it was a project boat I don't really want to paint one.

Hmm... well, sounds like the CVZ's are out too then, based on rule #1.
I really like the SSV-168...but it's basically a smaller CVZ... so if I'm going to have two boats again, I want them to be different.
-
See the subnote in Rule #1...I can sweet talk that one.
I've proposed several brown ones that are a no deal. It usually ends with "if you really want to paint something the {fill in the room} needs a touch up.
-
That's funny!
The General here says she wants a modern boat that looks like the new ones. Oy! So...she'd love a 2012 GT-160BR/GT-185
I think she'd be happy with a Sunpad to lay out on, thus the interest in the SSV-168. The CVZ can be my fun boat.
-
Haha....
Sounds like we are all in the same boat...
1. No brown
2. More seating
3. Modern ease of use/conveniences
4. Different than what we've got, but keep the old for "fun"

I think that we are looking at the same types of boats. Really I like our current it just need to go faster. I'd like the gold flake as well. I've been looking at the SSV's lately however I also peruse the 212s and the 184's from the late 70s as well as they have a nicer layout in the cab.
My fun boat would be the '68-'69 GT's I just think that they are cool... however I don't have that in th budget yet

I think the V212 is an awesome family boat...lots of room and the transom steps. Looks like one could add a swim platform as well.
Its on the list for me as well. The SSV-168 kinda duplicates what I already have...so that's a hesitation for me. V212 won't fit in the garage...so that's an issue.
A GT-150 would be fun to mess around in, but not ideal for a family of our taller nature...but I could give the SSV to one of the kids down the road.
