We had our union jackets done with our logo, it a machine that sews it, once they have a patern they can make as many as you want.

I've corresponded with the guy (PanamaJack) who's doing that boat (GT) Ross, he says the upholstery guy's name is "Indy".  I think he may be local to me in the Atlanta area, I can check if you'd like.  Happy belated Birthday, BTW.

Most embroidery shops can do that work.
Some will choose not to embroider on vinyl because the perforations are so close together that under stress, the vinyl can tear along the edge of the sewing, almost like tearing a check out of your checkbook.  I have only found two places in Des Moines that will embroider on vinyl, and one of those required a sample piece of vinyl to work on first.  The other wanted to "laminate" another backing on the vinyl across the whole width so that it would help prevent the stress tear.

To get it done, you need a vector file, and you need an experienced upholsterer who can tell you approximately how many stitches you'll need to make it look right.  Too few stitches & they become very long, trying to fill the space with color and easy to snag; too many and the stretchable part of the vinyl makes it start to lose shape and pucker.  The vector files are not terribly difficult.  Any of the t-shirts or other graphics I have done are available as a vector file.  Since you pick your thread, it doesn't matter what colors are used in your digital version - you could bring him something in various shades of hot pink - as long as you can identify which color thread will be used for each variation, it should turn out great.

Thanks Mark.

If and when I get around to the Surflite, I will likely use a local upholsterer I found who lives on my road less then 1/2 mile. Good deal for me being I live in a rural area. He has his shop at home and has quite a few years experience doing conversion work for Waldoch I believe and I've seen hot rods at his shop too. I had him reattach the original fabric to the seat back for my Bayflite after I made a new wood piece. I tried doing it and it was tearing. 30 bucks.

True, but ... nowadays embroiderers lay a backer on the inside that is a super tight weave. Haven't seen one tear out around a logo in awhile.

Ross have you thought about adding the guy down the road from you to the vendor list? When I redid the interior in my CVX16 I found out how expensive upholstery work can be.

That looks good. Andy Edson had some nice embroidery done on the seats in some of his boats. Maybe when I redo the interior on the CVX18 some day I'll have them stitch the Glastron Carlson emblem(see below) in a few places. That would look pretty cool.

I think I did, but I'll check.
Posted now along with a link to his Blog. That's all he has I guess. No website.

Not sure if Shawn ever added the guy who did his CVX18 to the list either. I don't think it was all that expensive and he did a great job.

Here is the web site for the guy that did mine. It looks great and when finished the price did not change. I will probabaly have him do the 23. Unless I attempt it myself.
