Do you still have any old un faded carpet, like up under deck to gauge new stuff with ?
I found some vinyl under my deck that I used to find vinyl from samples.
Not sure if this is original carpet (just pictures I have of it) but looks pretty good.
I have done search's for purple and isn't easy to find in auto / marine carpet.

Welcome to the forum Jeff !
Last time I searched for carpet in plum / purple I found some close match's in "Pink" .. kind of a dark pink looks close to plum.
I've been told that auto carpet is same as marine carpet as far as UV and water proofing.
From the other thread you posted about Burl wood ..
Avery Dennison use to make some that came close to original, but is out of stock at vendors or they quit making it.
Last search I did for "Burl Wood" came up with some lighter stuff.
Also if you want to wrap your seat bases, you'll need some wide stuff because of angle of seat base fronts.

Hyperacme and carlsoncvx18,
Thanks for the help.
The pictures you attached are the original carpet and vinyl exactly!!
I do have some non faded carpet for sample color.
Any additional help is great!

We just got back from our Glastron meet and uploading pictures tonight.
Tomorrow I can do some searching for carpet and Burl wood vendors.
Pretty sure the last picture I posted of carpet is original color and style of carpet.

You could send for samples.
When I was looking for vinyl, colors on computer screen were way off actual samples sent.
Send for sample that come close ...

GREETINGS!
I'm back from the dead and this is my first post in awhile.
Purple boats rule! Our's (used to be mine) is named Plum Crazy.
I found in my research that the weight choices available are pretty "Thin" on the Fuchsia colors.
I'm doing off white seats on Plum Crazy so I'm gravitating toward the heavier grade of Plum from Overtons.
Best thing to do is get samples. best way to color match and "feel"

Dan,
Thanks!
I am trying to keep it as original as possible.
If you find any other sources let me know.
Thanks again!

YES
The sample was not as dark as the pic.
I thought it went with the exterior.
Although any samples will have to pass the WAF now that it's ourboat. (Wife Approval Factor(
I'm a ways from a final decision.
