Got the Sierra G1700 winterized today. Not hearing any knock or noises out of the motor at all. Sounds healthy as can be to me!
Did stumble on a couple “that’ll do” engineering by the farmer I bought it from that explains a couple issues I was having. Like hard starting and it just always started better with the sundeck opened up for fresh air.
Notice anything wrong in the 2nd picture?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200905/8dc2e410e4daf6854217a06c7c7c14c0.jpg)

Bilge blower hose disconnected ?
Blower exhaust & fresh air intake hoses are both on the same sides. So...exhaust gases are immediately sucked right back into the bilge. Fuel line into the filter has slits cut into it so the hose clamp could be squeezed down tight enough to fit the too small intake port. No wonder it leaks down and has a hard time starting. "farmer engineering" at its finest.
