Repurposing?
One of my least favorite phrases, however I do try to be "green" except for bon fires, smokey outboards etc.

My first kit was a cheap knock off to see if I'd be anywhere near coordinated enough at this point in my life to do anything that sounded right. Made in China of course! After the ringing in my ears got worse, due to the cheap *ss cymbals, I started wearing musicians ear plugs, then sold the kit. Bought a better one but disgustingly, even Ludwigs are made in China.
After my divorce was inevitable back in 07, I started playing more, just to annoy her.  ;D
