Lake Monona and Yahara River - a few pics

Had the SSV-164 out on Lake Monona in Madison, WI.  The Yahara river connects the chain of lakes but is like a canal where it crosses the Isthmus between lakes Mendota and Monana.

Some history can be seen in these shots.  The state capitol and the Monona Terrace.  The terrace was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built after his death.  Part of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail in Wisconsin.









And my better half having a bit of fun with the camera.
