Restoring a 1980 California special CVX 18 and I am in need of a few Items.  I am looking for the Ski Tower and the metal grommet that it goes through.  I am also looking for the center console.. thanks , JT

Keep checking eBay, ski poles come up from time to time.
There was one " For Sale " last week.
You might have to make the plate, not many come up for sale

Not sure if the early models came with a center console.

Brochures don't show center console until 1983.
They list as " Lockable glove box" in 1985 brochure.
Last picture is ski pole in "TAZ" CVX18.

Think the ski pole was a option in the layer models. My 18 doesn’t have one

Thanks for sending the manual pic Hyperacme I don't have one for the California special .   The project is coming along nicely. Rebuilt all the wood work for rear seat using the post you sent me.  Have cut all new foam and begun making patters from scratch for new Upholstery and decided not to do the original Button Top patter.  Ski pole I bought on EBay for $35 came out great after using the instructions you sent me..  it took a little machining to get the spring loaded catch to engage properly.. going to go with Roth metal Flake on the re spray next.   I did contact Glastron on getting the California Special decals as well as the hood scoop 260HP. They told me no Dice to Old. I will figure out how to post pics some day..  been busy

The CS sticker won't be easy to reproduce ...
