Yes, and it sure don't look the same now, a friend of mine bought it and now it's come to rest about 15 miles from my house. http://glastroncarlsonboats.activeboard.com/t50221228/another-scimitar/ (http://glastroncarlsonboats.activeboard.com/t50221228/another-scimitar/)

PA? Holy crap! I'll have to find him, never thought there'd be one here... Red, his price might make me choke but I gotta ask...

I think the boat is in south Carolina now, I think he inherited it from his dad, I didn't ask more than that.
you can make a reply to him on my site if you wish ... http://glastroncarlsonboats.activeboard.com/t50571943/1980-scimitar/ (http://glastroncarlsonboats.activeboard.com/t50571943/1980-scimitar/)

Thanks for posting the pics Gregg, the ones above had a glare on the PA, couldn't make it out.
Red, I sent him a message yesterday to say hi and see where it was located and if there were any thoughts of selling. I did notice that his profile on your site says South Carolina, so I'd say you're probably right. Nice example! One would hope that the structure is as good as the rest, but you know how that goes. But as projects go, a nice finish, good interior and all the trim pieces makes for a boat worth restructuring. I figured if nothing else I'd have a fellow Scimitarian in PA, but it doesn't look like that's the case.
