Title: Mississippi 10/20 or 10/21
Post by: still_fishin on October 19, 2012, 08:37:31 AM
Weather permitting Maggie and I are going out one last time in the 20. We are leaning towards Sunday but of others are interested we are free both days.

We were thinking Sunday might be a good day too.
Might hit Minnetonka?

I am launching in Bayport at 10:30. And then head south to red wing and maybe stop at the Naughty Hawg for a cold one.

I will be launching at St Croix Bluffs  state park at around 10:30 to 11:00.  The park is located north of Prescott and south of the Kinni.  On the Minnesota side.

Anybody wanting to come along be there then.

Grandma aint doing so good ...
Doc won't get her a new hip because she's to old (86), so she's on dope for the pain.
Had to put her in a home three weeks ago, she needs 24 hour care and we can only do 12 to 16 hours per day.
Sundays are slow (fewer care givers)  at the home so family go's down for a few hours each to keep her company most of the day.
She wants out ... Very sad ...

Wish I could Jeff ...

Saw  the Alisson in Prescott, and another before we got there. We also had the priviege of watching the sun go down as we waited for the American Queen to lock through. We missed our turn at the lock by three minutes. Took us another 45 minutes to get home but we made it with out incident. Pulled the boat out at 7.
