Title: The cove above Red Wing 7/5-7/7
Post by: still_fishin on June 29, 2013, 09:41:46 AM
Maggie and I are going to be camping from Friday to early Sunday. All are welcome to join us, for a couple hours or over night.

Shawn and Jessica will be out there on Thursday, though I'm not sure what day they are packing up. I'm guessing Sunday as well.

Just a reminder, this is real camping, especially if you are coming down in a cuddyless glastron. There are no bathrooms, no showers, and no electricity, unless you bring it. If you are shy about the bathroom situation there is a bar in Diamond Bluff, WI that can accomidate you.

It sounds fun. How do the ladies like hanging it over a log (if there are downed trees)  :D
Not sure I could get Joni all that interested in that.
Ah we have plans on the 6th anyways. Maybe a day trip?

There are worse things than peeing in the sand!  However I've learned some tricks for when nature calls on the water or while camping...  The Lays Stax containers are perfect for women, if you want to sneak into the tent or crouch in the boat and a cheap poncho comes in handy if you want to keep yourself a little more covered!!

Have to be a good aim if its a #2 LOL
How about a 5 gallon bucket?
I realize there are not bumpers on the island.
I think this guy forgot his bag!
The one pic looks like its under the rear seat of a CVX
Hate to have that slosh around and spill.  :D

A lawn chair would probably work!

Looks like a popular place. Do you have any issues with leaving tow vehicles at the ramp overnight? I've seen some posted "no overnight parking" or something to that effect.
