Title: SOLD Selling my Aunts One owner 1971 Crestliner Stinger SOLD

I know, I know, it's not a Glaston....but.... Still super cool!

From my C/L ad:

I am selling this boat for my aunt. She bought it brand new in 1971 and has been the one and only owner of this boat. ALWAYS stored in a garage and has not been used until recently since 1999. Everything on the boat including the motor is original and as it came from the dealer in 1971. I have the original owner's manual, purchase receipt, and paper work for this boat.

Boat: 1971 Crestliner "Stinger" 14' Fiberlass. The hull of this boat is in AMAZING shape. Glossy and soft! Has a few minor scratches and scuffs but nothing serious. Floor and transom are SOLID. Vinyl floor is in great shape with no tears or fading. ORIGINAL black vinyl seats are in perfect shape. The two front seats tip forward and have storage underneath. Back seat tips forward allowing access to the gas tank (also mint) and battery (new). Anchor and navigation lights work great. There is also more storage under the bow.

Motor: 1971 Evinrude 40hp. Two cylinder. "Twin ski". Motor runs great. In the video you can hear a little hesitation while accelerating but this has ben resolved with new spark plugs. New fuel line and primer bulb. This engine looks awesome too and in very good condition. Comes with 2 extra props. Has enough power to push this boat to about 30mph GPS.

Trailer: 1971 Shorelander tilt bunk trailer. No issues here. Bearings recently repacked. Brand new tires. Three spare tires/wheels. Lights work great. Pulls great behind any car. Whole boat/motor/trailer weighs less than 750lbs.

Also comes with anchor, paddles, ski rope, ski bridal, and a swim ladder. (Yes you can ski behind this boat!)

Boat registration is good till 2016.

This boat MUST go to a good home. If you plan to store it outside with out a cover please don't contact me. This boat has always been stored in a garage and does not want to get cold sleeping outside!

You need to buy that and add that to your collection...One owner for 42 years get if just for that reason...

That is one great piece of history and after 42 years in one family,you should try to keep it there.. Just my option.  Family is everything.

Crestliner will live in Ely mn with it's big sister.... A 71 Crestliner Charger. A perfect boat collector owner. Buyer owns a Marauder too! cool guy.
