I'm compiling a list of notes of things that went well and things that we can improve on. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please feel free to post, or send me a PM.
Thanks!

Laurie said that we have to redo dinner, because she forgot to put the apples in our salad.

I vote to have next year's event closer than 1100 miles from my house. Kidding, I'll make it up there and it will be worth every mile.

I agree with everyone it was a great time and all three of you did a great job. Both Nebraska families loved it!
We are looking forward to next year!
-
Excellent job you guys!!
A very fair price for camping and dinner I pay a lot more when going other places, and they don't give me dinner.
But........... maybe we could hire a full time mechanic that stocks parts for all our boats.

Too many broken boats & donuts
If I could magically fix all of your broken boats you guys would have to make me your queen!!
I'm happy to report I only brought home a box and a half of donuts. Tim has polished off about six of them today along with a massive amount of fried chicken.

Rich - it will be.
Next year's should fall the day after my daughter's birthday - we'll plan to celebrate the weekend prior so I can be free.

Oh - and Tim & Maggie - since you both were at Rathbun this year, and Tim made it last year ... we need to clunk noggins sometime around the first of 2014 - now that you've pulled off Red Wing together, I'd like to share in what you learn to help make Rathbun better, too.

Google maps says 1241 miles one way for me Rich, ouch... :) but, like you, also think it's worth every mile! I've been absent too much lately on here... at least for my liking.
Glad to see a great time was had, despite some boat glitches. Love to see all the pics... two older GT160s... how cool. Nice job to all that helped make it possible!
Yes, it drove me crazy not being there... I'm making a new years resolution now, who cares it's not new years yet, I'll see you guys next year!

Just a thought. After the Saturday noon Lake Pepin peninsula beaching for a meal and chatting, I always head down Lake Pepin for a few miles and then head back to camp. Perhaps as an option, there could be a trip to the end of Lake Pepin. The whole round trip might be 60 miles. Weather depending since Pepin can get rough with a little wind.
Maggie, I left the yellow rectangular plastic container for the grapes. Any sightings?

Also, thanks to all that helped with broken boats. For me, Jason and Jeff for the troubleshooting, Shawn and Tim with helping to locate parts and for letting us take parts out of your Timi. Joe for bringing all kinds of parts along, so much so that he and Laurie had to strap stuff down on the roof of the Explorer! Thats what this club is all about.
About the only thing I can think of as an improvement is to figure out a way that Tim and Maggie are not tied down so much with manning the "Welcome" tent so you can have more fun too. Spread it around a little. More volunteers. We're all willing to help and many did. Also something I remember from my first meet in 2009, Brian and Lisa used walkie talkies so you could communicate. I have a couple we could use next year if needed.
Surprisingly, we got by with 2 coffee makers and 2 air pots. Glad that worked out! Thanks to Gregg for manning those and keeping them running.
For us, adding Thursday to our trip was nice. It still went by too fast!

We think we have a solution to free Maggie up next year.
