Title: SOLD *1976 Bicentennial Edition GT-150 For Sale * SOLD
Post by: Joe Pivonka on February 21, 2014, 10:32:06 PM
I am selling my '76 Bicentennial Edition GT-150. I found this boat in the woods of Wisconsin and did an extensive restoration. New floors, full interior, motor, electronics, paint, everything. There is a restored Calkins roller trailer under it and a Mercury 90HP Tower of Power outboard with trim and tilt on the back.

$2600

Check out the restoration at http://www.1976-gt150.blogspot.com/ (http://www.1976-gt150.blogspot.com/)

I think Doran broke the 11th commandment: "Thou shalt have only one boat at a time."

Nope, the 11th Commandment has not been broken.  I'm actually looking at a Suburban today.  Can't decide if an older Suburban beats my newer Jeep.

Joe can fill you in...but I did see him towing the boat through Des Moines yesterday.

Okay, you did not break the 11th commandment. What about the 10th commandment "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's Glastron"?  LOL

I did meet up with Doran in DSM yesterday but he did NOT buy the boat. I sold it to a guy named Duane from Kansas City, MO. We met in DSM.

Nice Suburban Doran!

Gregg, I'm going to get a 115 from a guy a bit east of La Crosse tomorrow.

I went over to Western WI near La Crosse and pulled a 1982 1150 off of a 17' Rinker. It looks really clean. Can't wait to get it on a stand and check it out.

Nope! Left the Rinker there. He said I could take other parts if I wanted them. Nothing I could use. I took all of the motor stuff, trim pump, all wiring, tach, speedo, controls, nuts and bolts. I think I got everything I need! And I still got 23mpg on the way home! Try that with a boat behind you

It's always sad to see one leave ...
The new one should take your mind off your loss ...
