Your boat was the envy of highly competitive Walt in New York and his "Shadow Girl". Walt's CVX-18 would only go 73 MPH. Pictures of TAZ and the Shadow Girl.

Good luck with the sale Jeff!  You've  got some serious money stuck into that boat as well as a lot of your own time as I know you did all the work yourself. 88 MPH is wicked fast! I'd love to see someone active in the club buy it.

So is your boat really rootbeer metalflake? It always looked like plum in the pictures.

Couldn't help it ...  Walt's boat is a Beauty, and fast, as is Taz, but the statement that Walt's boat woulld Only go 73 made me laugh ... thats kicking a$$ in any of these boats, and only a few have achieved that,  and I don't know what the top speed of Taz is ?  but  it all depends on what we spend on the motors, and for some of us, hull mods,  to achieve the speed we want, thats when cubic inches and some labor turn into cubic dollars.  I have Yet to see 80mph out of a scimitar, but I did see 78.2 gps on Red's Gold with the 388cid in it, but I have a 409cid in the shop now for my next scimitar project, then I'm going to retire ... again !
