Title: SOLD 1982 Mariner 50HP Outboard SOLD
Post by: Joe Pivonka on April 18, 2014, 05:47:35 PM
I have a very nice Mariner 50HP Outboard for sale. The motor came off of my 1983 SSV-151. I have included a link to the motor running before I pulled it off. It comes with the remote control, owners manual, plastic fuel tank, extra misc. parts and a service manual. It is all ready to run except for the fuel line. Trim/Tilt is NOT a part of this setup. Never had it.

It appears that there is a small leak at the prop seal. I haven't investigated further but have included a picture.

I'm looking for $650/offer. Please text or call me at 815-762-4143. I am in northern Illinois

Sure that's not just oil/carbon/gunk dripping down your exhaust and out the prop ?
Is the LU gear grease milky ?

Yep !
Looks like a very nice motor for a good price ...

I haven't checked. I just removed it and put the other motor on. It makes sense though. Hope that's it, Thanks

Do you use "Sea Foam" on/in your cyl. and exhaust ?

I didn't do anything to this motor. I'm guessing that it was winterized by someone knowing who owned it.
