anyone have plans for this weekend ?
will be nice today but i gotta work sometime...
possible rain Saturday afternoon, Sunday looks good (high of 88)
i will for the most part be avoiding the Croix on the weekend
would be fun to run to the cove from Hastings or Prescott (i have never launched at either location).
or some where in st Paul and lock through at Hastings.
i know i can run from Hudson to the cove and back on a tank of gas.
FYI, if i can make an escape work on Monday we will be on the croix 90+ and sunny

My 1999 Ford Crown Victoria tow vehicle is being used by my son as his 2010 Toyota engine ate water going through a flooded street the day we had the boat show rains. Engine seized up and car was totaled. Settled with the insurance company today, purchasing car back, and am searching for an engine to be installed by an experienced mechanic. Car-Part.com has 21 pages of engines from yards around the country, starting with engines with 232 miles. What a week.

Anyone going boating tomorrow? My girlfriend Kate and me were thinking it would be nice to get out on the water... Of course I don't have a running boat, so that's an issue... I'm up near Forest Lake, but we could go somewhere else to meet someone too...

Laurie my niece Tena (8 years old) and I are going on the Croix this afternoon. plan to launch around 1:00, prob st croix bluffs. prob hang out at knniki and play in the water for a while, will prob run to the cove maybe later. if anyone is around let us know.

Thinking I will head out on WBL tonight. I think the Scott and Mike were coming out again as well. I have room if someone wanted to tag along.

No it's a Evanrude painted silver flake to match the silver part of the boa,t yes it was all flake except the bottom of the hull. It was 4, 16-year-olds in there, the one dude said it was his mom's boat, they are from Hudson.
