I'm looking for one or two of these emblems in nice or better condition.  I'm not sure of the years they were used.  I have a couple of the new decals, and they are very nice, but I'm also looking for a few of the original raised emblems.  Let's just call it, a winter "art" project.  When I finish the project I'll post a photo.

Anyone have a few, or know where I could pick a few?

				Keep searching eBay ...
Find a CV for cheap on Craigslist and offer him a reasonable amount for the emblems.

 I think they were on CV's from about 1970 till 1973 ...

Like these?  Look on the GCOTD thread, fullparts boat with motor and trialer for $500.

Yup, those are the emblems I'm looking for.

I called the guy, had a nice conversation with him, a good guy.  He was a "back yard" boat technician that is getting out of the business and moving on.  This is a customers boat he bought and was going to restore but has decided not to.  Floor and transom will need serious work, steering mechanism removed, engine needs work, etc.  It would need some serious work . . . but yet my thoughts are it is a salvageable hull for someone.  So, for me to buy it and pull a few parts then resell it is not something I want to do.

I'm hoping someone picks this boat up for a save project; I will continue my hunt for the emblems from a nonsalvageable hull.

It's to nice to scrap ... BUT for $500 you could get your side emblems and sell motor for $250 and trailer for $250 ...
 Free emblems ...

Wish I could save it ... even the vinyl looks to be in good shape ...
 Any one want to buy a 1976 CV16 ?
