I'm thinking of starting a new project, and I need a motor cover for a early 70's cv-16. I could use one from a 140 mercruiser  or omc .Anyone out there have one you'd be interested in selling? Or know of where I could find one? Please send me a message.

Not much left, but says the engine cover is there.

That one would work but it's in New York, anything closer to minn.? Shipping something that big would be too much. I've only have about a $200 budget for that part.

Probably wouldn't work. That Buffalo boat has a Volvo engine so the engine cover's "hump" for carburetor clearance would be on the opposite side to that for a Mercruiser, unless it's equally high across the top to be universal.

What are the details of this project? I am very curious.

There was one for sale locally a few months back.
Not sure if it sold or he just pulled Craigslist ad.

 Me to !

Which side the hump won't be the problem. I just want to keep the look of stock parts on a glastron. I'll let all of you know what I've got in mind when I get all the parts and see if it will work.    Hint..... White, twin jets.

Don't overestimate shipping. It shouldn't be more than $50-60 to ship that via ground. I ship lots of big things all the time. I'd say give the guy a call or email. If I were closer I'd pick it and ship it for you but it's a bit too far. Maybe there's a member close by?

That IS! an awesome boat, but I'm thinking it's little sister.....

Talked to the guy in buffalo, wanted too much for cover and then shipping so I'm still looking. Any help would be great, and thanks.

It's a shame that you couldn't agree on a price for the motor cover. Priced too high may be the reason that he's had that ad on craigslist on and off for a year and a half. If by chance that the 2 of you might agree on a price I'm in Syracuse and could help with shipping or bring it to the Aug. meet.
