There is always a first for everything, never have seen a jet pump like this or heard of the boat. The guy has the original 318 chrysler, just curious on how this style and brand pump would perform on a boat? Would parts for drive even exist? On Craiglist in central Michigan if anyone wants to check it out.

The jacuzzi pumps were quite popular around here in the 60-70's. The 327 engine I built for the CVZ was originally powering a Jack pump. Worked well in shallow water, but had a tendency to clog up if ya got in the weeds. Don't know anything about the craft you posted, other than the pump.

seeing I have to do alot to the 79 Glastron carlson, maybe a crazy project dumping in a jacuzzi jet with 318 chrysler. lol.

That was all ya saw around Miami late 60's early 70's.

Are you talking about that specific boat or jet drive, or jet boats in general? I actually have talked to a few companies on the west coast and Florida that specialize in performance jets and mainly Jacuzzi where there are two main models. So far no one has ever seen a pump set up like this since most is inside the boat with the motor sitting more ahead in the boat. Will be bringing it home this week to hopefully get more info on it.
