Title: Looking for... C512 Metric Ladder
Post by: dszczucinski on June 11, 2018, 08:13:39 AM
Hey all,

We had a larger friend bust our ladder on the back of our C512. The main structure of the ladder is fine, but the swing down step broke off. Any thoughts of how to repair or replace?

Also... quick update on the Vagabond Camper --> Currently awaiting fresh fluids, impeller, and a carb rebuild before we put her on the water due to the fact she sat for at least 5-6 years. Interior has been steam cleaned and trailer lights repaired :-) Once she is water ready I will start a new post to show her off!

Could the broken rivets be replaced with stainless steel nuts and bolts ?

What parts do you need?
I have the upper half of the swivel bracket & a lower step left over from my repair
I will post pic.

@Tonka Jim, we have considered drilling out the old rivets but the mounting bracket also broke in the process and the step is bent. I can get pictures hopefully tomorrow when I am back at the lake.

@Hyperacme we need the lower swinging step portion. The part of the ladder that is attached to the boat is still in good shape. I will try to take a picture tomorrow.

Much appreciated guys/gals!
