I was told that this is the prop for my 2002 gx-225 With a Volvo penta sx drive would work.... sure don’t look like it! It does fit on and doesn’t rub anywhere but it’s smaller then the gear case.. Is that right? It’s a Michigan ballistic 4 blade.

Are there any numbers on it ?
Do a google search for part number.

It should be fine. I run a trophy which has the small hub on my Intimidator. Ok, after i wrote the above i remembered the exhaust differences. You may, have a chance of excessive prop slip while trying to get out of the hole because the exhaust running over the hub. But then again people vent their props to gain early higher rpms to get out of the hole faster. My bet is you will be fine.
Not the exact same but close..... at one point i got a great deal on two merc chopper 24p props. I read multiple times online they won't work on an i/o due to their hubless design. I thought there may be a slim chance with the Intimidators higher x dimension it would work. I can report the results were the same and it didn't work..... short of. Out of the hole, near impossible to get on plane. Tons of feathering, i mean tons. Any normal amount of throttle and it would blow out forcing a near total redo on the attempt to get on plane. Once hooked up, it was just as good as most. Needless to say i sold them both.

I run a Trophy four blade prop that is smaller diameter, but I run thru hull exhaust, so far the best prop I've run.

Had the boat out last weekend and it ran great with the new prop. Nice cruise at about 2600 rpm and about 30 mph. Top speed around 55 and around 4500 rpm. Nice hole start and great all round speed... works great! I might have to get another one for the timi. more Hp and lighter boat... might be fun!! :)
