OK, so probably something everyone else knew, but I was proud of myself for discovering this, and thought I'd pass this on. I swapped out the old pre alpha (898) Rams on my CVZ for XD Rams, any needed to change the trim fluid since I couldn't identify the goose grease substance coming out of the used Rams. So a few oil changes and cycles were needed. As usual my nifty funnel/hose/clampy tool is no where to be found, so off I go to figure out how to add oil to the trim pump resovoir and not so much in the bilge. I got to checking and found the lower unit lube pump and fitting screw right in! Worked perfect, only wish there was another hole the same size to view the level. BTW, I didn't use lower unit lube.

Hmm I always thought that was a weird size screw for the trim pump, somebody must’ve thought that out.

Good idea, I'm going to try that with the next fluid change.

Great idea, I just installed new lines and that would have been way faster than using my method of using a small syringe to get fluid in the hole pi’s.
