Looking for a red GT 150 for sale. Will travel or pay shipping. Thanks!
-
When you say red .. you are talking about a 1971 GT. All others were orange.
I post every Glastron Carlson I see and most GT's
I search with ... https://www.searchtempest.com/

Thanks, I didn?t know this type of search existed! Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, is the orange an orangish red? They all look red to me. I suppose I?m open to both.

This is great information, thanks! I guess I have a lot to learn. Im seeing several project type boats, but I?m wondering if I?d have more in restoration than buying something in great shape to start?
-
If yer doing the work yourself restoring would probably be cheaper, and if you do it then you know what you have.

Going to look at one on Friday or Saturday. Anything to look out for? How can you get a good feeling for the transom and stringer condition?
-
Still on the hunt for a red or orange GT150. Would prefer turn key or near it. If anyone has any leads on one, please send me a message. Thanks!
-
Transom condition, with the trailer connected to a vehicle in the motor tilted up just stand on the cavitation plate and bounce a little bit. There should be no give in the transom.
There is really no way to tell the condition of the stringer with the floor in it, but if there?s any soft spots in the floor or anything else suspicious you could probably count on the stringer being at least wet if not, rotten.

Thanks! Several postings on marketplace, but the sellers don't seem responsive. Even when I'm willing to pay asking, having trouble getting them to commit. It's kind of weird.
-
Really nice one's pop up from time to time.
It's a waiting game .. AND .. As soon as you find a nice one for a good price, one will pop up in better shape for half the price.
One will show up
-
Thanks! I?m continuing to look everyday to jump on one when it?s available.
-
Know of any members willing to sell theirs? I talk to some of these people on marketplace and you can tell they know nothing about the boat and neglected it.
-
Not my boat .. I know nothing about it .. Looks clean .. There's a video in link to ad ..

All ORIGINAL. 1974 Gt150 like the James Bond boat. It looks and runs well. New trailer and cover.
