Title: Paint Recommendations

Looking at putting a couple coats of paint in the area where the battery and gas tank are on my gt-150. Is this recommended? If so, what type of paint recommendations would you have? Just looking to add some extra protection and water proofing to this area of the boat. Currently looking at Interlux Bilgecoat in Grey.

Interlux Bilgecoat should work

I used Total Boat Total Bilge in my CV engine bay and was very happy with it. Epoxy base makes it durable and goes on thick enough to do one coat
