Title: Bow and stern light switches for 1972 gt150

I?ve redone the wiring and took apart the old switches and got them to actuate more reliably. For the most part they engage and disengage with some effort. Does anyone know of a rocker switch that might fit where the old ones are? I?ll probably keep these, they are serviceable, just problematic being so old and dependent on springs.

1972 was only year that type switch was used. After they went to toggle switch's.

Thanks! This is really helpful, I?ll probably fiddle with these a little longer. I can see why they moved away from them. Granted these are very old, but they feel like they would have even been delicate and problematic when new.

Friend who restores old cars told me to soak them in a container of Buckeye 2000 / Protectant 303 for a few days.
I only used the switch / lights twice, once to test and once on river run at dusk.
You could wire in a switch to turn on lights and hide it behind dash, so you don't use switch on data plate.
