Thought some folks might like to see this.  My Z windsheilds have several cracks, and I never liked the tall stock height, so I did this.  Took off about 6", cut off with saber saw and sanded edge 180 then 320.  I repaired the cracks with special glue, and I will cover the outside with a window tint so the cracks are not visable on the outside.  This height should work well into my plan of making it look more like a Cvx with the bow cover on.
