OMC 400 electric shift outdrive gear oil

Hi folks,

The 400 series outdrive is supposed to be filled with Type C gear oil...what is everybody using as a substitute?

we dont get all that much traffic here these days, but i have not seen any posts on one of these drives (not nearly as common as Mercruiser)
it looks like sierra still sells it,

Thanks Joe,

I did the same search and ordered the Sierra stuff through Amazon.

I'd love to find an OMC enthusiast forum like the ones we have for Saabs, they are very busy and very helpful.
