Thanks for the compliments guys.  Next weekend I will start on the electronics.  Adding a second battery, the stereo and a little more lighting.

Didn't get much accomplished this weekend.  Got the registration number decals applied and installed the stereo head.  I guess like Dan says I am going really fast backwards on the one side.  LOL.  Frankie called to tell me that the windshield is finished.  I will drag it downtown to Eaton Quade and get that installed next week.

Going backwards or not, that still looks really cool on the side of your boat.  Nice job.

Well, I pulled Hot Knots back from the lake yesterday in a pouring rain.  Local rainfall at lake of the Arbuckles was 4".  I got soaked hooking on to her even with her under the carport.  I'm leaving out for downtown OKC here in about 10 minutes, and Frankie is going to install the new windshield and place the rest of the graphics on her.  I'll take pics and post them when I get back to Edmond with her.

Yes Josh rain is a good thing for us and Texas, but with that much we can get flash flooding in our creeks and low spots.  I got the new windshield in today and the rest of the graphics put on.  I really wanted a new bow hatch cover, but Frankie wants $300 to make a mold for it and $175 for the replica.  I would be willing to pay the price for the replica but I don't really care to be the one to pay the bill for the mold for myself and everyone else.  The name graphic is on her, and I know I'm supposed to have a renaming ceremony.  I thought maybe we could have a renaming party for her up in Iowa in June while she is in the lake surrounded by all her Glastron brothers and sisters....Red Solo Cup... Redneck Yacht Club.....Anyway here are the pics of her with her new adornments.

Barb, she looks sweet! I think doing the renaming in Iowa sounds like a great idea.

That baby is lookin Good Barb, but I'm kinda suprize at the cost Frankie gave you for making a mold for that hatch, he know's I can make one for a Lot less than that, maybe that was his thinking ?
The hatch has got to be vacumn formed, needs a solid mold, we can make a mold off your's if we get a bag of hydrostone from Dolese, a 100 pound bag cost about $40 thats the only size bag they sell, amazing stuff, sets up hard as a rock in about 5 minutes, and nothing sticks to it.

Looking great!

I had thought about a group re-naming out here at Rathbun ...

Wet Raider wasn't named when she came home with me.  I haven't paid for my name graphics yet ... maybe I should plan on getting them done before June and we can all do it at the same time.  We'd need someone to officiate.  We can ask Doran to take video if he'll keep himself dry during the ceremony (I wasn't there, but I've heard all about it).

Well, if this group naming is going to happen count the starflite in. The wife and I have been thinking about giving her a name.

Not to sound prudent, but I ain't so sure a 'multiple' renaming ceremony is in the interest of common good. Personally I think it's a bad idea, but whudda I know. Seems to me it would only serve to confuse and anger the gods. I will consult with the elders for a ruling ...
