Gregg -
When I was young, I'd go camping and fishing with the neighbors.  Their son, Andy, was one of my best friends.  He's now 32.  Every time that song would come on while we were driving up into the mountains, he would start crying and ask his dad why the authority always had to win.  Thanks for the reminder, good (and funny) memories.

The word that makes Red cringe is the K work
 KNOCK.... :o

Go to his forum and try typing it in.  It's in the profanity catagory of being banned.

pre-ignition is more a ping. Knock is much deeper and normally means you should call your crankshaft supplier. I think Red has one on speed dial.

I've scattered a couple. Not bad builds, just stuff happens. Lost one in the Dragster at 150 going through the lights. Got a face full of oil and couldn't see. Not fun. But I used to shift at 10,000 RPM. Just joking with ya.

(Cross posting as an FYI)

Ok...this thread went off the rails a little bit...but...we have 2 more confirmed attendees.

Pam & Jimmy is bringing both his Mint Emerald Mist CVZ-18 and his newly acquired CVX-20.

The CVZ-18 will be up for sale soon btw:

I'm down graded to probable.  I tore my ACL and have surgury schedualed for 3 weeks prior.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to survive a 6 hour car ride.

At this point I'm still planning on it though.
