That is where I meet tim and went camping for a weekend. Was a good time that hill is alot bigger than you think.
I think this has become an addiction.

That's pretty cool. Never knew it was there. Perfect place for an overnight on the river.

Kip, that CVX appears to be perfect. Beautiful. I never got to see it in person. I believe you sold it shortly after the time I got involved with the club. 2008-2009

That's neat!... great place to hang out, especially with the family and kids.  Would love to go explore those areas if only I had some extra time before or after one of the meets.

Doug, I would not have expected that drastic of a change over those few years.

Ross - Pretty nice shape but far from perfect. They always look better in the pictures. Great little boat,  but my favorite GC by a long shot is sitting in my garage up north. ;)

And that pics almost 3yrs old, y'oughta see it now. "Debby" did a real number on it. We knew this was gonna happen when they dredged sand from around the Island to "replenish" Venice Beach. Gee, when ya suck all the sand from around an island where do you think the island is gonna go? It really is a tragedy. Would ya believe that Island was nearly 6 acres in the early 50's?!

Well far as I'm concerned 5 years is okay. Way I feel these days not sure I'll last that long. But would like to see the island preserved for my neice and her generation.

Not to worry. The guys that sucked all the sand away say they have a plan for putting it back. And just as soon as they can formalize that plan, they're gonna implement it ...

I ain't holdin my breath, though mebbe I should?
