Not a Gtron, but still not bad when I get her shined up. It's keeping it shiny that's the problem. Guess I could find someone to sew me up a cover ...

I think it's more like the cobbler's kids with no shoes ... always worried about everyone else's boat first.

Beautiful.  Was that Intimidator painted and then cleared with flake?

Yep it was painted and they put quite a few coats of clear over it. I wanna say like 6 or 7?  Someone from Texas bought it.

It was a nice 'Timi but it didn't have the "HOT" motor in it like yours Barb!

I moved Gary's boat out to the driveway last evening, this morning when I opened the curtians by my desk the sparkle from the boat was blasting thru the window, my camara can't capture the sparkle very good, but I went out in the yard to get a decent shot.  I haven't polished this one out yet, it's just buffed down, it still has a lot of sanding scratches in it, but when Barb gets back from Germany I'll give her a magic marker and she will pick out aff the area's that still need buffed out, then I'll do a polishing, that girl has a good eye for finding scratches.

Ooooooohhhh.... purty!

Threads like this keep me excited about getting the flake done on the Scimitar.

Funny how boats over the years have moved away from flake, but yet every time I take a shined up Carlson with flake out on the sandbar, everyone flocks to it. You can see them coming, walking thru the water past the $100k boats. If you anchor near other boaters, you gotta be ready for conversation, and to give numerous tutorials about the history of Glastron and Art Carlson.
