Trip to Long Lake
« on: July 25, 2016, 10:12:58 PM »
Not a relaxing trip by any means with 6 kids under 5! But was still a great time last week on Long Lake in WI. Emmett got to do some driving in the boat while Sawyer napped. A little canoeing, skiing, and just floating in the lake.

Ya, I saw it too; to me it looks like he was asking for more speed.  😊

Great pictures Jason, I know you've been there before because I think I told you I have property on Kunz Island. I was there in June with a buddy putting the dock in for the first time in a long time. 3400 acres of fun - I'll be there 2 weekends in August and probably a couple more in September. It eventually may be home for the CVX18 during most of the summer, we'll see. May have to have a mini meet there sometime.

I think I remember you saying that Kip.

Is Kunz island only the little tiny north island or does it include the long island that goes all the way down to Props?

I saw a CV23 docked at the southern tip of the long island near Props.

Jason - Ha! I wish that was it. That's called Honeymooners island because supposedly a long time ago a couple went out there on their honeymoon and were never seen again. Probably more fiction than fact. My lot is on the big skinny island and right now there is nothing out there but a lot of trees and brush. Trying to get some walking paths cut this summer, a cleared area to camp, and a small shed to keep stuff.

Jason before you know you'll be able to relax and let your boys do the driving. Long Lake 8/15/16.  Definitely need to get a Glastron mini-meet up there next year summer. The lake is infested with pontoon boats. Maybe we can eradicate with some metalflake! ;D
