Alternate Inboards for 270 Outdrive

I couldn't find anything on the search for this... but does anyone know if there are different inboards that will mate with the 270 outdrive?  Trying to find an alternate solution to attempting to fix a torn apart/busted AQ130C before offloading the boat... :-(

I know that they were offered with small block Ford and small block Chevy V8s. As I recall all the Chevy motors use the same bell housing, so I would think if you could find the bell housing fly wheel and such for a Chevy you could put a 140 in there.
