This bicentennial edition of the classic Carlson Glastron was a restoration project for me that did not get finished. The floor has been replaced and recarpeted, but the seats could use some new vinyl. Although the boat hasn't seen the water in 10 years, the 115hp Johnson is a beast with amazing acceleration. This will make a great boat for cruising the lake this summer! Will consider offers.

1984 Johnson J140TLCRD 140hp,  Trailer, and Project Boat - $700 (Chanhassen)

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/boa/d/chanhassen-140hp-motor-trailer-and/7841234912.html

Working Johnson J140TLCRD 140hp outboard motor (1984) with power trim, on a Glastron SSV-176 17' speedboat (1982) and working trailer (1982). Motor is in good shape and the main value - have been running it several times a year to get out on the lake. Had the interior tubes/hoses replaced 2 yrs ago.

Boat has been driven up until this year but the transom is finally needing replacement, hence the "project" to consider. Interior is in relatively good shape given the age, and it's a fun boat to drive. Registered until 2026.

The trailer has some rust but tires are good, bearings lubed, lights working, etc.

1980 Glastron - $5,800 (NW Cobb CO)

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/boa/d/acworth-1980-glastron/7837079360.html

1980 Glastron CVX 16. Wicked Vintage ski boat
If you must boat, do it in style! These Vintage Glastron ski boats are best known for a wild chase scene in "Live and Let Die". James Bond approved!
I've owned this for about 2 years. We restored the interior. We had it on the lake twice. Rides true and smooth at 45mph. No leaks. Hull is strong and true. Pulls a tube or skier no problem. Everything works.
115hp Mercury outboard the "Tower of Power"
I did my part to repair and maintain. New plugs and plug wires. Properly fogged the motor for winter storge, filled the tank to avoid condensation inside, Fuel additives (Sta-Bil) to the preserve gas.
NOTE: I think the carbs need a rebuild. After a few hours of running, it starts to flood and gets difficult to start back up.
I was quoted, over the phone, about $750 to have them rebuilt. I still have that shops info if you want to connect with them. Perhaps It could be a cheaper fix, but I haven't bothered digging in. It's 44 years old! Minor cracks in the finish and gel coat are evident.
We don't have the time to do a lot of boating and want to free up the funds for other projects.
Trailer was rebuilt last year. New lights, tires, hitch jack and toe hitch. 2" ball
Comes with a 2-person towable and tow rope. 4 adult life vests and 1 youth, Fire extinguisher and horn. Battery has a built-in charger / maintainer
$ 5,800 Negotiable.
Will consider partial trades for a good pop-up camper.
