CV19SS Coast Guard Capacity Placard Replacement
« on: April 11, 2025, 05:06:03 PM »
I am searching for a good photo of the Coast Guard to recreate as mine is quite worn and corroded for my CV19SS. The project is complete and with way too much money invested it is a very nice example of the 70's GC jet boat era.
Here is a photo of my current one but I would like to replicate this one as exact as possible. Any good photos would be very welcomed!
Thanks

Also interesting the difference in certified capacities between 1974 and 1976 with the earlier model using an Old 455 and the later using a Ford 460. I am curious what other differences resulted in a reduce load capacity? The Olds is quite heavy at 850lbs, not sure what the 460 weighed fully dressed.
