Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been active here however I've never been logged out of the forum and it's always an open page in my browser. Just thought I'd pay a visit and inform about what's been going on. I haven't actively been boating although I've been swamped with work at the boat shop. I just haven't had the enthusiasm the past few years to work on any of my own projects. I haven't even used my own boats during that time. But yesterday I came upon a new project which I will fix up and probably sell when completed. It's a 2006 Glastron MX-195 that's been left neglected for a few years. I used to service this boat for the owner's family about 10 years ago but the husband passed away and it was just left uncovered in their back yard. The wife wanted to get rid of it so it was offered to me. At the very least it will need a new engine and some upholstery work. It's got a Volvo Penta carbureted 3.0L 4 cylinder which is all rusted up so I plan to do a long block swap. Overall the boat is in decent shape, it just needs a good cleaning.
