Father's day weekend was selected as the 2026 Rathbun dates. June 17th through Sunday June 21st. Connie and I have set our reservations, staying in Marina hotel, covered slip for the CVZ. We arrive Wednesday, just for an extra day. Marina can be reached at 641-724-3212. There is plenty of RV and tent camping at the marina as well. On site restaurant has great food and drinks. Rathbun is somewhat a hidden gem for us, plenty of tranquility, lots of room, great little coves to float around in. Campgrounds are all around the lake, some private, some are state owned. Marina doesn't open officially until April 1st, but call and leave a message and they will call back and accept reservations.
