I worked every angle I could think of to make the family's schedule work out to have time for at least a couple of hours on the river today. Unfortunately my stepdaughter threw us a couple more things she needs to do for school.... There is one last sliver of possibility, but it's remote and will be mid afternoon. If that works out I'll call Jason since I've got his cell in my phone and see if I can meet up with you guys.
If not have an awesome time and I look forward to pictures!

The runs on the MN. river and Miss. river are much smoother with less boats.
Down side is not many nice beaches like Kinni ...
Is that a 105 on your GT ?

After thinking about it it is big in appearance and I'm woundering too if that chrysler is a 105. That little GT goes too fast to be a 75hp.

Sorry I didn't have the time today to catch up with you guys today. I made it as far as that narrow stretch south of Afton where all the boats were pulled up along a long sandy beach before I realized I had just barely enough time to full throttle it back to Hudson to get home in time for apple picking with my family. At least I ran into my boat's twin! Good to see you guys Sean!
Man I tell ya, between the choppy waves and some of the swells thrown out by the larger yachts there were a half dozen times that I swear I must have had the whole boat OUT of the water! Yikes! There was even one time on the way back right by the 94 bridge where 4 wakes/waves all converged on each other from 4 different directions RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and as I noticed I was going a good 35 miles an hour at least I thought "Oh my... a hole just opened in the river!" The resulting spine crunching belly flop my poor bayflite took a second later must have been interesting to see!

Yeah it's not uncommon to get airborne out there, that last picture I posted (the one of steve) amy said that's right when he "landed" hence the extra water splashing.
