Anybody have a photo of the plastic hinge on an SSV177 walk through windshield? Any ideas where to get one?

Found something that might work. going to order a couple feet and try it on the Phoenix Rising.

Excellent! Thanks for the link Brandon! I've been looking for something like that for my crawl-through windshield as well! It should take the same stuff your windshield does and it's the first I've seen that's also sold by the foot.

There's a drop down where it says "roll" to change it to $3.99/foot. A couple feet should to the trick!

I ordered some today. Freight was a little high 13.50 via priority mail, but if it works it makes it well worth it.

I could have used some of that too but I replaced mine with a stainless hinge. I could NOT get the old one out but didnt spend too much time on it. It appeared to be crimped into the aluminum frame.

Aren't there little pins that go through the frame and plastic hinge locking it in place?

when I removed the old plastic from the Phoenix's windshield frame it was just slid in. Had to use a little persuasion to get it removed.

I had two screws holding mine in to the pass thru window and two in windshield.
Think I payed about $12 for four feet of it from a Glastron dealer about 10 years ago.

Got the hinge today too dark to give it a try today. I will try to pull the windshield tomorrow over my lunch, and see if it works after I get off work.

Did a test fit on the hinge, it is a nice tight fit. I have a little more glue to clean out from piano hinge I installed in May, but it looks like the seams are going to be just right!
