Just brought up the Walmart website that Gregg posted. Shows my local store Mercury premium plus for 19.98. Went to the store and it was 29.98. Told my wife and she had this experience. Web site price of an item was less than in the store. The clerk told her to order on line to your store and they will sell to you at that price w/o postage charge. It's not synthetic. Pennsoil synthetic was less. Possibly 15.98 or 25.98. Not sure price. My VRO tank started buzzing low oil a few years back. Unhooked the wire. Then re-hooked and soon buzzed again. Beat on the sender with a brass hammer and it quit. Float not stuck. Sealed solid state unit. Acted the same this year. Leave it unhooked and keep it full of oil. Tank unit on Ebay about $170 used so you can sell your's. Think you said it was gone when you got the boat, David.
Does any one know if the wire from the tank being off affect the other warning buzzers. I can ground at the thermostat sender to check. Have a remote key switch so cannot ground at the control.
