1979 - Glastron Carlson CV27

27 foot twin Mercruiser V8 (350). Step back into the 1970?s at a top speed of over 60 miles per hour. This was Powerboat Magazine?s ?Boat of the Year?. See attached article for details. Second owner. Owner passed away 3 years ago and boat has been sitting in its covered slip since. I am a friend assisting his wife in getting the boat sold. I put new batteries in the boat and engines turn over. Oil looks great. I unhooked fuel lines as I don?t know the condition of the fuel. Boat ran 3 years ago. I don?t know anything further on mechanical condition. The slip is transferrable. Covered slip $400 (I need to confirm exact moorage rate). I?ll post the article? it has all the details. Seller wants vessel gone.There is no trailer.

One of the original ski, speed boats, 1984 classic glastron cvx16, with the original 1984 150hp mariner, comes on a 2001 northtrail aluminum trailer, purchased the boat from the original family, the boat was garage stored, floor, transom and hull in excellent solid condition, interior in good condition.ski bar, 2 props , bilge pump, Only knock is one rip on the drivers seat, see pic, and the windscreen has cracks, but wired together, motor needs a rebuild or to be replaced, selling as hull and trailer value, trailer is in excellent condition, new spare, newer wheels and tires, tongue jack, I will include a new battery with the purchase price, $3700, call dale [hidden information].

I'll keep the boat if I can find a great deal on a replacement 150hp motor, with my motor as partial trade.

Garage kept Collector boat and i'm sure one of the nicest all stock 86 Carlson boats in Canada, 260 HP Mercruiser engine 350 cu. in. High Five stainless steel prop. excellent condition for the year. runs great. I have owned since 1990 and am the second owner. Power steering, ski pole, built in cooler. comes with stock tandem axel trailer with surge brakes, boat cover. Hardly used in past 20 years. Time to sell.

This is a 100% original boat. Runs great and water ready!
Replaced floor. Checked stringers - they are good!
Transom is great.
New tune up and water pump. Motor runs great!
New carpet and redied the seats. They do have a few corners that are split.
Boat is a blast and gets a lot of attention!

The Good !
- has great interior no cracks and still very soft
- solid floor and transom
- all the gauges and lights work
-have the dealer sale sheet and manuals from 72

- has new fuel and water lines,impeller
- includes new carb rebuild kits, new prop, various ignition components,
- trailer wiring was just redone
- seloc Volvo/penta manual

The Bad!
- trailer looks bad
- impeller shaft needs new seal.
- needs blower motor
